Privacy policy

Who we are
Jessy will order ("Jessy", "we", "us") is an app made and run by Adi Anafy Tusia-Cohen, an individual developer in Israel, who is responsible for your data under this policy. You can reach us any time at jessyorderapp@gmail.com.
This policy explains what Jessy does with your information, in the app and on its website. It's written to meet the Israeli Protection of Privacy Law, 5741-1981, and the rules of the Apple App Store and Google Play.
You don't have to give us any information by law. Jessy asks only for what it needs: without your details it can't show your address before an order, and without your email it can't send price alerts.
What stays on your phone
These are saved only in the app's storage on your phone. We don't receive them.
- Your details: your name, mobile number, email address, delivery address (street, house number, floor, apartment, city), entry code and courier notes. Jessy shows them to you, for example before an order. It doesn't send them to us or to the shops, except your email address in the two cases explained below (price alerts and Wolt login).
- Your subscriptions: the products you chose (name, photo, link, price, quantity, shop), how often you order them, and the next order date.
- Reminders: Jessy schedules them on your phone. They are not sent from a server, and we don't use push tokens.
- Your shop logins: Jessy opens shops (like Wolt or Shufersal) in a browser inside the app. When you log in there, the shop's login is saved by that browser on your phone, like in any web browser. Jessy never asks for or stores your shop passwords.
- Your past orders: when you use "Find my regular orders", Jessy reads your order history on the shop's site, on your phone, using your own login. It keeps only the products it suggests, and only if you add them.
What reaches our server (only with price alerts on)
If you turn on "Watch the price for me" for a subscription, Jessy sends our price server:
- your email address, so we can tell you when the price drops;
- the product's link, name and quantity, and the price when you added it;
- how often you order it and your next order date.
Every day in the week before your order, the server checks the product's public price on the shop's website and emails you if it dropped. We use this data only for that. When you turn alerts off, delete the subscription, or tap "Delete my data", the app asks the server to delete it. Anything left there is deleted automatically 90 days after its next order date has passed.
What goes to the shops
When Jessy fills your cart, it does what you would do in the shop's website: it opens the product and adds it to your cart, inside your own account. If you ask Jessy to help you log in to Wolt, it types the email address you gave it into Wolt's login form. The shops handle what you do on their sites under their own privacy policies.
Payment: Jessy never pays for you and never reads, collects or stores your card or payment details. Jessy stops before payment, and you check the order and pay yourself, on the shop's own page.
Your clipboard
Jessy reads your clipboard only to paste a link: when you tap "Paste", and while you're logging in to Wolt, when you come back to Jessy after copying the login link from your email. Jessy uses what it reads only to fill in the link field or to log you in, and doesn't keep it or send it to us.
When you write to us
If you email us (for example through "Send us your thoughts"), we receive your email address, your message and what the email form adds: for a bug report, your phone's system type and version. We use it only to answer you and improve Jessy, and keep it only as long as needed for that.
Who helps us run Jessy
| Service | What for | What it gets |
|---|---|---|
| Cloudflare, Inc. | Hosts our price server, its data and these pages | Price-alert data (above); technical data such as IP address, as part of serving requests and protecting against abuse |
| Resend, Inc. | Sends price-drop emails | Your email address and the email's content |
| Google (Gmail) | Our support inbox | Emails you send us |
| Apple and Google | App distribution and updates | What their stores collect under their own policies |
These services may store data outside Israel, including in the United States. Where the law requires, we make sure the transfer is allowed under the Privacy Protection (Transfer of Data to Databases Abroad) Regulations, 5761-2001.
We don't sell or rent your data, don't share it for advertising, and don't track you across other apps or websites.
How long we keep it
- On your phone: until you delete it in the app (Account → Delete my data) or delete the app.
- On our server: as described above, at most 90 days after the subscription's next order date has passed.
- Emails to us: as long as needed to handle your request.
Your rights
You can ask to see the data we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it. Most of it is on your phone, where you can see, edit and delete it yourself in the Account tab. For anything on our server, email jessyorderapp@gmail.com and we'll answer within 30 days. If you're not satisfied, you may complain to the Privacy Protection Authority in Israel, or to the data protection authority where you live.
Security
All connections to our server use encryption (HTTPS), and we keep as little data as possible. No system is perfectly safe, so if a breach ever affects your data, we'll tell you and the authorities as the law requires.
Children
Jessy is for people aged 18 and over. We don't knowingly collect data from children. If you think a child has used Jessy, write to us and we'll delete their data.
Paid features
Jessy is free right now. If we add paid features, payments will go through Apple or Google, and we'll update this policy before they start.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top. If the change is important, we'll also tell you in the app before it takes effect.
